Churchplanting in Pilisvörösvár

Our ministry in this town was formed out in 2005 from mission campaigns around Bicske.

This town of about 14 000 population of German Heritage is mostly catholic religious people. Beside this fact and the global problem of materialism and unconcern it is a huge challenge to reach people with the Gospel.

Beside our Sunday services we hold different Christian events in the local Gallery. This helps a lot, as the local TV and newspaper report on our programs.

Even if it is sometimes discouraging „We are pressed on every side by troubles, but we are not crushed. We are perplexed, but not driven to despair.” 2 Corinthians 4:8, we can see the blessing and fruits of our work for the Lord.

Our mentor is - Szentendre Baptist Church.

Puppet Mission

Since 2005 we have been attending schools, preschools, and kindergartens in 50 kms area at Christmas and Easter time. Hundreds of children can hear the Gospel, learn Christian children songs, and receive gifts(CD-s and magazine) including the Good News for the whole family. We are involved in ministry partnership with Palanta Children and Youth Mission www.palantamisszio.hu.

Nationwide and Budapest Youth Mission

We participate in organization of nationwide and regional camps.

We also help the ministry in Budapest for young people who moved to the capital due to their studies and we have services, prayer meetings, Christian programs for them.

We pray for the youth living in the capital to be saved. www.baptistaifi.hu

Internet Mission

Secondary school students living in hostels God placed on our hearts also, and we made a website for them: Free Life. The address of this page and Christian Youth Magazine, JELIGE (www.jelige.hu) is distributed in hostels, with the aim to help these students find Christian fellowships.

For girls, but mostly women and mothers, we launched a website called TABITA MISSION to be a blessing for those who are in difficult times in their marriage, birth of babies, and growing children. www.tabitamisszio.try.hu

Local Mission

" And work for the peace and prosperity of the city where I sent you into exile. Pray to the Lord for it, for its welfare will determine your welfare.”!" Jeremiah 29:7

Well, it is not because of exile, but the Lord lead us to Nagyegyháza in 2005, when after two sad events we inherited one part of the grandparents’ house. This is a settlement of 200 population between Vértes and Gerecse hills, located 42 km-s from Budapest. Some minutes from the highway with a panorama view of the hills and a pond, we have our house. We are still finishing the construction, but in spite of this fact guests are warmly welcomed.

The neighboring village Óbarok, where our children attend kindergarten, and we hold Bible clubs there. for the village children. Many disadvantaged people find us with their needs and requests, and by God’s help usually they get solved, concerning mostly clothes, furniture and even meals.
